whatever makes me happy monday: designing woman

my mum is a designer.

a designer of interiors,

 and of one of society's most sacred spaces....

the home.

she manifests dreams through fabrics and pillows

encapsulates families in joyful living spaces

and like an artist

takes a blank canvas

and turns it into the spectacular

she can weave color and texture

the way a chef blends butter and cream

the result a delicious, delectable

feast for the eyes

she creates boudoirs

 that beckon. 

...sanctuaries for the soul

and

you should see what she can do 

with a loo

she is a master of her trade

and what a creative trade it is....

cuz if home is where the heart is

she has a remarkable gift of giving hearts

a lovely place to live.
